Trade turnover between Tajikistan and CIS countries to rise by 10.3 %

Volume of trade turnover between Tajikistan and 5 CIS countries has considerably fallen. According to statistic data, the reduction of trade turnover with Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Russia is observed, Avesta Tj reported
Trade turnover between Tajikistan and CIS countries to rise by 10.3 %

Volume of trade turnover between Tajikistan and 5 CIS countries has considerably fallen. According to statistic data, the reduction of trade turnover with Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Russia is observed, Avesta Tj reported.

Trade turnover between Tajikistan and Armenia has amounted to $85 thousands within 7 months of this year, which is 85.6 per cent. This indicator amounted to 76.5 per cent with Moldova, 62.8 per cent with Ukraine and 3.7 per cent with Uzbekistan. In spite of Russia ranking first in Tajikistan's foreign trade, trade turnover with RF has fallen by almost 2.7 per cent.

Decrease of trade turnover with Armenia, Moldova and Uzbekistan is explained by reduction of food products supply from these countries as well as energy supply from Uzbekistan.
Tajikistan has placed multimillion orders to production of equipment and hydropower machines at Ukrainian enterprises in previous years.

According to statistic data, trade relations has been increasing between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan - 2.6 times, Kyrgyzstan - 2 times, Turkmenistan - by 48.9 per cent and Kazakhstan - 59 per cent.

According to statistic data, the increase of trade turnover with mentioned countries is due to growth of energy resource and crops import from these states.
In total, the trade turnout between Tajikistan and CIS countries amounted to $1.4 billion within 8 months of this year, which is 10.3 per cent more than indicators of the same period in 2011.
