Turkmenistan’s State Migration Service hosted a meeting with representatives of Japan’s embassy in the country, the Service said in a message.
The two sides exchanged views of prospects of the Turkmen-Japanese partnership in the migration sphere.
In this context, an exchange of views was held on the issues of attracting advanced Japanese experience and technology to the local market.
The interest of the Japanese side in further development of traditionally friendly relations with Turkmenistan was noted during the meeting.
Japanese companies are involved in various projects on diversification of the Turkmen economy. A complex of plants for the production of ammonia and urea was built in the city of Mary in 2014 with their participation.
