Preliminary measures, including feasibility studies, for launching an international bourse in Kish Island has been conducted, Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) deputy manager said here on Sunday.
The Mehr News Agency quoted Ali Sanginian as saying that the SEO is in talks with Kish Free Zone Organization (KFZO) to modify the free zones regulations to meet the requirements.
"The cabinet has submitted the parliament a number of bylaws to be ratified for the establishment of capital market entities in free zones" he added.
Previously, the Iranian Oil Bourse was inaugurated on February 17, 2008 in Kish Island.
