The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) gained 215.16 (0.23 percent) points to end the trades at 95,445.1 on May 23.
According to the TSE official website, about 1,417 million shares, valued at $236 million were traded for the day.
The trading value and volume registered rise by 567 and 119 percent compared to the preceding day.
The Price Index (TEPIX) gained 64.16 (0.22 percent) points to post 29,673.4.
The First Market Price and dividend index- TEDPIX (FM) increased by 198.41 (0.29 percent) points to post 67,971.7.
The Second Market Price and dividend index - TEDPIX (SM) added 213.40 (0.11 percent) points to post 202,339.4.
The Industry Index was up 227.37 (0.27 percent) points to post 85,603.3.
TSE 30 Index gained 15.16 points (0.36 percent) to close at 4,258.7.
TSE 50 Index increased 10.64 points (0.27 percent) to end at 4,011.8.
Gol Gohar mining and Industrial Co., Khark Petrochemical Co., Jam Petrochemical Co., Khorasan Steel Company Mobarakeh Steel Company, and Fanavaran Petrochemical Company were among the companies that imposed the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
Meanwhile, Tamin Petro Co., Iran Telecommunication Co., Tehran Oil Refining Co., Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Ghadir Investment Holding and Isfahan Oil Refining Co. the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.
