Iran’s East Azerbaijan province ranks first in terms of allocating land to investors, said Managing Director of East Azerbaijan Province Industrial Parks Company Morteza Niroomand Oskouei, Trend reports via IRNA.
He said that 96,000 hectares of land were given to industrial investors in the East Azerbaijan province this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018). This is an 88 percent increase compared to the same period last year, he noted.
He added that East Azerbaijan province ranks sixth in terms of the number of industrial facilities commissioned.
He said that 83 industrial facilities were commissioned in the province this year.
“This year, 1,574 people were provided with jobs in the facilities commissioned in our province,” he noted.
