Licenses worth $29.6M issued in Iran’s Hamadan province

Foreign investment licenses worth $29.6 million have been issued in Iran’s Hamadan province since the beginning of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), said Mehrdad Mousavi, director general of the Hamadan Province Investments Attraction and Support Department, Trend reports with reference to IRNA.

He said that licenses for foreign investments worth $700 million will also be issued soon, adding that major breakthrough will be observed in the development of the province once these investments are made.

He noted that domestic investments worth 3.68 trillion rials (about $87.6 million) have been made in the industry, tourism and agriculture sector of the province for the nine months of this year.

“By 2021, the unemployment rate in the Hamadan province should drop by 7 percent,” he said. “In accordance with the document of the province’s regional development, 72,000 new jobs should be created over the next three years.”
