For several hours the police have summoned the heads of territorial divisions and the party activists. The commandos attacked the MP from the Prosperous Armenia Party Rustam Gasparyan's house.
"A legal assistance group will be established Feb. 18," the party said. "The public, the media and the embassies accredited in Armenia will be informed. Thus, the regime moved to outright terror, trying to suppress the national movement through fear and violence."
During a meeting of the council of the ruling republican party of Armenia last week, President Sargsyan said that as a politician Tsarukyan was bad for the country. He also withdrew Tsarukyan's membership in the Security Council.
