Porto moved effortlessly into the semi-finals of the Europa League with a 5-2 victory at Spartak Moscow to follow up their 5-1 home win last week, dpa reported.

Porto moved effortlessly into the semi-finals of the Europa League with a 5-2 victory at Spartak Moscow to follow up their 5-1 home win last week, dpa reported.

Competition top scorer Radamel Falcao followed up his hat-trick last week by notching his 11th goal for the Portuguese side who will play the winner of the later match between FC Twente and Villarreal.

Brazilian striker Hulk opened the scoring in the 28th minute for Porto who went further ahead through Cristian Rodriguez (45th) and Freddy Guarin (47th).

Artyom Dzyuba pulled a goal back for Spartak in the 54th minute before Falcao made it 4-1 a minute later. Brazilian striker Ari (72nd) scored a second for Spartak before Ruben Micael added a fifth for the visitors.

Spanish side Villarreal are 5-1 up from the first leg against Twente. In the evening's other quarter-final ties, PSV Eindhoven play Benfica and Sporting Braga face Dynamo Kiev.
