Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept. 6
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
Lebanese ambassador to Ankara Ghassan al-Muallem was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Trend reports on Sept. 6 referring to the Turkish media.
Reportedly, the reason is a rally of a group of ten people at the Turkish embassy in Beirut, where the protesters called the Ottoman Empire "the state of terror".
The protesters also burned the Turkish flag.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry protested in this regard and urged the Lebanese government to ensure the security of the country's embassy in Beirut.
