A regional workshop in the framework of the 4-th project of the regional assistance program “Drug Control in South Caucasus” (SCАD) is taking place since 24 October 2005 in Tbilisi. The event is held in the framework of the SCAD project “Reducing narcotics need in secondary and higher educational institutions”, Trend reports.
The SCAD program national coordinator Mazahir Efendiyev participating in the event reported on the propaganda and work conducted by the government of Azerbaijan on raising awareness to prevent drugs spreading. As an example for the workshop’s participants he mentioned joint measures of the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism on this subject held in the country’s regions.
The seminar will finish its work on 26 October.
