Rumania to chair at BSEC MCF during next half-year

During the next half-year Rumania will chair at the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Council of Foreign Minsiters (CFM). The decision was made at the next meeting of the CFM held in Chisinau with participation of the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, Mahmud Mammadguliyev, the press service of the Minsitry of Foreign Affairs told Trend.

The meeting discussed prospect of the organizations. It focused on development of the cooperation with such international organizations as the CE, GUAM, as well as issues of energy and transport.

In his remarks, Mammadguliyev touched upon development of the cooperation with the CE, mentioned importance of joint transport and energy projects, as well as underlined necessity of injection of progressive changes to the voting system and decision making mechanism of the BSEC.

The meeting ended with adoption of the application on strengthening of the cooperation with the CE.
