Around 19 percent of Georgia's exports accounted for Azerbaijan in January-December 2014, the Georgian National Statistics Service's foreign trade report as of 2014 says.
The goods worth $544.4 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January-December, the report says.
The goods exported to Azerbaijan decreased by 23.3 percent compared to the same period of 2013. Georgian goods worth $709.9 million were exported to Azerbaijan in January-December 2013.
Georgia mainly exports cars, cattle, medicines, cement, steel bars and other goods to Azerbaijan.
Armenia ranks second place on this index. Georgian products in the amount of $288.24 million (10.1 percent of a total export volume) have been exported to this country since the beginning of the year, a report says.
Russia ranks third on an export volume of Georgian goods. The goods were exported in the amount of $274.96 million or 9.6 percent of Georgia's total export volume in 2014.
The trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan amounted to $1.182 billion (10.3 percent of Georgia's total foreign trade) in January-December 2014, which is 13 percent less than in the same period of 2014. For comparison, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $1.36 billion in 2013.
