In January 2015, Azerbaijan produced 38 cars, which is 2.8 percent less than in January 2014, said the report of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan at the end of January 2015.
However, Azerbaijan manufactured 1,861 cars in 2014, which is almost 3 times more than in the same period of 2013.
Some 32 trucks were produced in the reporting period, while in January 2014 no trucks were produced in the country.
Around 284 trucks were produced in Azerbaijan in 2014, which is 15.4 percent more than in the same period of 2013, according to the report.
In addition, in January 2015, the republic produced 95 tractors, which is 14.4 percent less than the same period in 2014.
The country also produced 1,265 tractors in 2014, which is 71.2 percent more than in the same period of 2013.
Currently, two plants manufacturing vehicles - Nakhchivan and Ganja automobile plants - operate in Azerbaijan.
