Kazakh company Samruk-Energy received 13.34 billion tenges (340.05 tenge= $1) of profit in January – September 2016

Kazakh company Samruk-Energy received 13.34 billion tenges (340.05 tenge= $1) of profit in January – September 2016, according to the company’s financial statements published on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Nov. 17.
In the same period of 2015, the company’s losses amounted to 41.74 billion tenges.

Samruk-Energy’s revenues hit 159.81 billion tenges in January-September2016 compared to 165.28 billion tenges in the same period of 2015.

The company’s assets increased from 1.026 trillion tenges at the beginning of 2016 to 1.04 trillion tenges at the end of September.
Samryuk-Energy’s capital rose from 482.52 billion tenges to 511.49 billion tenges in this period.

The company’s liabilities decreased from 543.77 billion tenges to 528.9 billion tenges in January-September 2016.

Samruk-Energy is 100-percent state owned company. It manages and develops energy generating facilities in Kazakhstan. Installed capacity of Samruk-Energy’s power plants was 6,774 MW in 2015, or 32 percent of the total installed capacity of power plants in Kazakhstan.
