The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry held an auction on placement of T-bills on Friday. The action was directed to placement of 16th emission of T-bills under registration number 10201608S, the Baku Stock Exchange told Trend.
The volume of placement amounted to 25bn manats. Nominal of one T-bill comprised 1m manats, turnover term вЂ" 91 days, covering date вЂ" 13 January.
In 2005 the Finance Ministry announced 16 emissions of T-bills with 455bn manats total nominal value or 91% of the registered emission prospect for 2005 (400bn manats + 100bn manats). The Ministry attracted 220,776bn manats by 15 emissions.
