The Head of 'SOCAR Energy Ukraine' Trading House Vladimir Bychkov left the company, the press service of the company told Trend August 17.

The reasons for Bychkov's leaving the company are yet to be disclosed.

Bychkov joined 'SOCAR Ukraine' after Azerbaijani SOCAR acquired 'Tala Nafta' filling stations in Ukraine in 2009 (about 20 filling stations in the Odessa and Mykolaiv provinces), which were at the time owned by him.

SOCAR kicked off its work in Ukraine's retail market with this network.

Azerbaijan's SOCAR today has 52 filling stations in Ukraine, and the company plans to increase the number of its filling stations to 60 before late 2015.

SOCAR is the only manufacturer of oil products in Azerbaijan. It owns filling stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.

In 2014, SOCAR exported 1.2 million metric tons of oil from Azerbaijan compared to about 1.05 million metric tons exported in 2013.
