Oil&Gas Materials 1 November 2005 14:41 (UTC +04:00)

Gasification of the Imishli region planned for late October was put off till mid-November, Azerigaz JSC told Trend. The reason for delay is difficulties at the construction of the 33-km Imishli-Saatili gas pipeline. “We have made some changes to the route of the pipeline and suppose to complete construction of the pipeline till winter (15 November),” the Company noted.

Azerigaz also intends to carry out gasification of the regions Beylagan, Lerik and YArdimli till 2008. Gasification of these regions required 82.5bn manats.

The work is envisaged within the state program on social and economic development of the Azerbaijani regions. The Company currently provides Baku and 49 regions with gas.
