Kazakhstan intends to improve legislation in air transport

Kazakhstan's Transport and Communications Ministry hosted a meeting on the issues of development of charter transportation in the tourist market of the republic. It was decided to establish a working group on the improvement of the legal acts in the field of transport at the Kazakh Committee of Civil Aviation (CCA) in accordance with the results of the meeting, the press-service of the ministry said.

Kazakhstan's Transport and Communications Ministry hosted a meeting on the issues of development of charter transportation in the tourist market of the republic. It was decided to establish a working group on the improvement of the legal acts in the field of transport at the Kazakh Committee of Civil Aviation (CCA) in accordance with the results of the meeting, the press-service of the ministry said.

"At present, CCA expects nominations for the commission from interested government agencies, the National chamber of entrepreneurs, tourism organizations and airlines. The main task of the working group is to prevent critical situations in which Kazakhstan`s citizens - clients of various travel companies may suffer," the report said.

The report further noted that work on the amendment in the legislation regarding transport, in particular regarding the activities of the carriers will be conducted by the working group for the protection of the interests of the tourists, as well as the proposals will be given on the improvement of this field.

"The creation of the working group will help to identify inconsistencies, if it exits in the activity of the tourism organizations and carriers. We want to stress once again that the Ministry of Transport and Communications makes every effort within its competence to ensure safe flights without endangering life and health," chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee, Beken Seidakhmetov said.
