The transition groups of Georgian Dream coalition, which has won the parliamentary elections according to preliminary data of Georgian CEC, will be represented in all government structures of Georgia starting October 8 in order to provide peaceful transfer of power.
This agreement was reached on Monday at the second meeting of Georgian Dream representatives with representatives of ruling United National Movement party on transfer of power.
"Georgian Dream has sent its representatives, to all major structures, including law enforcement structures, to provide stability and peaceful transfer of power before official approve of government, which will take several weeks,"one of the coalition leaders David Usupashvili reported to journalists after the meeting.
Parliament speaker in office David Bakradze, Tbilisi governor Gigi Ugulava, parliament member Pavle Kublashvili and head of National Security Council Giga Bokeriya from United National Movement party and the leader of 'Our Georgia- free democrats' party Irakliy Alasaniya, the leader of Republican party David Usupashvili, the former ombudsman Sozar Subari and the former head of Ivanishvili's charity fund Irakli Garibashvili from the coalition took part in the meeting.
According to Bakradze, representatives of future government can only be introduced to the situation in the ministries, this is why dual power can't be considered.
"Concrete names of people, who will work in ministries and get acquainted with their activity has been reported to us," he noted.
The next meeting of working groups will take place till the end of the week.
The leader of election winning Georgian Dream party Bidzina Ivanishvili has presented candidates for ministers in Georgia's new parliament in head office of coalition in Tbilisi on Monday.
Ivanishvili himself is going to take the post of prime minister.
