Georgia, Moldova to sign agreement on readmission of persons residing without permission

Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Alexander Chikaidze is on his first official visit to Moldova, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs told Trend.

The visit will last until October 7.

Alexander Chikaidze will hold a meeting with his Moldovan counterpart - Minister of Internal Affairs Dorin Rechan within the framework of the visit. Chikaidze will also meet with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova.

During the visit, the sides will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation and European integration.

During the visit, the minister will sign a joint declaration with Moldova on cooperation in the field of European integration and the "Agreement between Georgia and the Republic of Moldova on the readmission of persons residing without authorization."

The declaration and the agreement will be signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.

The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will include the Head of the Department for External Relations, Department of the Central Criminal Police, Department of the patrol police and the Central National Interpol Bureau in Georgia.
