While discussing the regional security issues, special attention was paid to the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia and the processes in Ukraine. The sides also discussed the preparation for the Riga Eastern Partnership Summit.

The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Tedo Japaridze, his deputy Zviad Kvachantiradze and minority representative David Darchiashvili attended the meeting.

"We met with our opposition colleagues from Lithuania's Seimas, namely, former foreign minister and former prime minister," Japaridze said. We have agreed that we will continue the dialogue."
