Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has offered amnesty and an opportunity to return to peaceful life to militants of the opposition groups, Russian news agency TASS reported.
The Syrian president made this statement in an interview with the German broadcasting corporation ARD.
He called the ceasefire established on February 27 "a glimmer of hope."
