Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept.19
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Greece Antonis Samaras have held a one-on-one meeting.
During the meeting, the parties noted that relations between the two countries were developing successfully and stressed the importance of the realization of the Southern Gas Corridor. It was noted that there were big prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Greece.
During the conversation, the sides also exchanged views on international affairs and other issues of mutual interest.
Following their private talk, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Greece Antonis Samaras met in an expanded format with the participation of their delegations.
During the meeting, the sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations. The parties discussed energy cooperation and the implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor project.
