EU special rep on S Caucasus starts visit to Baku

Peter Semnebi, the newly appointed special representative of the European Union on South Caucasus started his visit to Baku on 16 March. Semnebi has rich visit program, Trend reports.

During the visit the EU special representative on South Caucasus plans to hold meetings at different ministries and administrations of Azerbaijan.

The diplomat will have his first meeting at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after meet with speaker of the parliament, Oktai Asadov, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, head-of-staff of the Presidents Executive Power, Ramiz Mehdiyev and President Ilham Aliyev.

EU special representative also plans to meet with representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations of the country.

He will hold a news conference in the end of the visit on 17 March.
