The First Secretary of the Information Policy and Press Department of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, Khazar Ibrahim, informed Trend that official Baku considers it expedient to carry out ecological mission to eliminate the damages of the fires in occupied Azerbaijan lands.
According to him, in result of the visit to the region, the OSCE assessment mission prepared and announced a report regarding the situation after the fires committed by the Armenians in occupied Azerbaijani lands. The report says that the fires inflicted significant damages to the ecological system and humanitarian situation in the region. In addition, the report says that the fires were caused by the human actions, Ibrahim said, adding that therefore, we consider it expedient that the ecological mission should be carried out after the assessment to liquidate the damages of the fires. In addition, the diplomat said that the conduct of the ecological mission, as visit of the assessment mission, arises from the requirement of the Resolution #60 of the U.N. General Assembly.
