Azerbaijan can join Trade Agreement under the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Khurshid Enver, the ECO Secretary General, made this statement in a meeting with Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Trend reports.
In this case Azerbaijan interests will be taken into consideration in the Agreement, Mr. Khurshid assured. Noting Azerbaijan significance for the organization, Mr. Enver appraised the country economic achievements.
The meeting focused on simplifying the rules for businessmen from ECO member-states with respect to develop cooperation in the sphere of trade. The Azerbaijan Foreign Minister noted the necessity for adopting such resolution under the organization. The Minister stressed the importance of organizing the mutual visit of businessmen for the establishment of new contacts.
