BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Azerbaijani national team judoka Murad Fatiyev (90 kg) said he intensively trained for the current European Championships in Zagreb and will do his best to win gold there, Trend reports via Idman.biz.
"Of course, I have strong opponents, but I consider myself stronger than them. My main goal is to show all my strength here and win.
The main goal in the future is to perform well at the European and World Championships and go to the Olympic Games,” the athlete said.
To note, Fatiyev will have his first bout against Jamal Petgrave from the UK at the ongoing European Judo Championships on April 26.
A total of 13 judokas are representing Azerbaijan at the competition.
