BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Azerbaijani national acrobatic gymnastics team members are athletes showing high achievements, team coach Leyla Aliyeva told reporters, Trend reports.
She made the remark on the sidelines of the 29th Azerbaijan and Baku Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics.
"The Azerbaijan and Baku Championships are being held over two days. Then the team will take part in the World Cup stages, which will be held in Bulgaria, Portugal, and Poland. Therefore, the current competitions for team members are a control before international competitions, and we expect good results from everyone,” she emphasized.
To note, competitions for the Azerbaijan and Baku Championships are being held at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex in Baku on April 25–26.
The participants of the competitions are athletes from the Specialized Children's and Youth Olympic Reserve School of Gymnastics, Ojaq Sports Club, Neftchi Sports Club, and Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 13.
