Azerbaijan, Baku / Т corr S. Ilhamgizi / Tahir Abbasli, the chairman of the Islamic Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (IDP), stated that the party protested against suspension of the negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as well as appeals to restore war operations.
The IDP does not consider the suspension of the peaceful talks to be necessary, as that is not the way out of the situation. "The negotiations should be proceeded in order to restore the peace. The process should be intensified, despite the activities by Armenia's supporters and unwillingness of some forces in the settlement of the conflict," Abbasli said.
He added that even the double standards demonstrated by some international organizations cannot be a reason for replacing peaceful negotiation with war.
