The Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davudoglu, visited Tehran on Sept. 12 upon his Iranian counterpart, Manouchehr Mottaki's invitation.
Turkish FM visits Tehran

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davudoglu, visited Tehran on Sept. 12 upon his Iranian counterpart, Manouchehr Mottaki's invitation, the Fars news agency reported.

During a two-day visit, Davudoglu will meet Mottaki and the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. Davudoglu will discuss with the Iranian officials the development of bilateral relations, regional and international issues. Moreover, the Turkish minister will meet with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Ali Larijani and the Secretary General of the Iranian National Security Council, Saeed Jalili. Davudoglu will make a speech at the Iranian Foreign Ministry Centre for International Relations and Strategic Studies on Sept. 13. The Turkish Foreign Minister is also expected to visit the Mashhad City.
