The head of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has been re-elected as chairman of the Advisory Council of the CIS Muslims for the next five years.
The decision was taken on Tuesday during the second meeting of the council in Baku.
Baku holds the second meeting of the Advisory Board of the CIS Muslims and international scientific and practical conference entitled 'CIS Muslims for peace and sustainable development' on Tuesday.
The event is attended by representatives of religious confessions in Azerbaijan, members of government and parliament, representatives of scientific and cultural intelligentsia and diplomatic missions accredited to Azerbaijan.
