Sitting of the working group on political prisoners issue, comprising the human rights activists and the state bodies representatives will take place on 16 August, a member of the working group, a human rights defender Saida Godjamanli told Trend. The date of the meeting has been set by the working group members, delegates to the Parliament.
The meeting will be held at the Milli Mejlis. Cases of some political prisoners will be put on discussion, complaints received by the working group will be studied. The human rights activists are interested in the draft amnesty they presented to the opposite side.
Discussions on the subject will be held for application of amnesty.
