Pakistani Tourism Minister invites Azeri tourists to Pakistan

The year 2007 is predicted to be a year of trips made to Pakistan, Pakistani Tourism Minister Nilofer Bakhtiyar told a press conference on September 13 in Baku within the participation at 5th Conference of Tourism Ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Trend reports.

Pakistani Tourism Minister expressed dissatisfaction at the level of co-operation between the two Countries with regards to tourism. Pakistan is prepared to offer Azerbaijani tourists with varied itineraries, especially echo-tourism, religious tourism, etc, the Minister stressed.

According to the Minister, the favorable investment climate in Pakistan opens opportunities for Azerbaijani businessmen to establish profitable businesses. Pakistan has created favorable conditions for Azerbaijanis where citizens of Azerbaijan are able to apply for tourist visas at the airport, the Minister pointed out.

According to the Minister, during her visit she has met with various tourism operators and discussed future co-operation.
