The price index of construction works in residential buildings fell 0.3 percent for the fourth quarter of 2008, compared to the same period last year at 4.3 per cent, the State Statistics Committee reported.
The price index of residential buildings also declined in this period at 0.3 percent (the same period last year by three per cent), including the price index of residential buildings under five stories for the year declined by 0.3 percent (2.7 percent), six or more floors - at 0.3 percent (three percent).
The price index for construction work on the social significance of the buildings fell by 0.3 percent (3.3 percent), including administrative buildings - 0.2 percent (three percent) of secondary schools - 0.3 percent (3.8 percent).
The price index for construction work on roads fell by five per cent. By the same period last year grew by 16.2 per cent.
