The Association of Leasing Companies of Azerbaijan (ALCA) is going to change leasing business regulation in the country.
ALCA President Elchin Ahmadov reports that recommendations to be submitted to the government are being developed.
"The recommendations will stipulate amendments and additions to the Civil and Tax Codes," Ahmadov said.
In particular, it will be considered the expediency of adopting a separate law on leasing activity, he said.
There also must be amendments to the Tax Code and Civil Code as there are some discrepancies and moments need to be updated, Ahmadov added.
"Initiatives we presented today may come into force till the end of 2009, and amendments to the Tax Code - from 2011," Ahmadov underlined.
The Association of Leasing Companies of Azerbaijan (ALCA) was founded in 2004 by Ataleasing, Unileasing and Muganleasing companies.
