The director of Iran Water Resources stated that seven national dams will be inaugurated with an annual adjustable level of 337 billion cubic meters during Government Week which started August 24.
Sattar Mahmoudi told the Mehr News Agency that "four national dams (in Zanjan, Kordestan, Fars and West Azarbaijan provinces) will be inaugurated and 3 will be filled in the Government Week."
Other dams in Isfahan, Western Azarbaijan and Kermanshah provinces were supposed to be filled during the Government Week and will be opened later in winter.
