Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 3 /Trend E. Kosolapova/

Kazakhstan expects to harvest at least 26 million tons of grain in net weight, Novosti-Kazakhstan quoted Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbektov as saying.

According to Mamytbektov, the grain of this year's harvest is of good quality.
"Ninety percent of all grain harvest is brad-grain," he said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture said Kazakhstan planed to harvest 22-23 million tons of grain in net weight.

This year Kazakhstan plans to reap a record grain harvest of 60 years.

Export potential is estimated at 15 million tons.
Due to the record harvest, Kazakhstan is seeking for additional markets for its grain and considering possibility for exporting grain to the African and European countries.

As the Food Contract Corporation of Kazakhstan told Trend earlier, eight million tons of the grain harvest will be used for domestic consumption, the six million tons for traditional markets (Central Asia, Iran, Azerbaijan and other neighboring countries), while five million tons will be bought by Food Corporation to stabilize the market. The rest volume of grain will be exported to new markets.
