The 'round table' on the 'Customs Union Countries: common agricultural hub' will be held within the V Astana Economic Forum on May 24.
Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov will be a moderator, the Ministry of Agriculture said.
The parties will discuss the prospects of establishing a grain pool within the Customs Union and its investment appeal. Moreover, the 'round table' participants will discuss the role of the Customs Union countries in ensuring food security in the world.
Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov, Russian Minister of Agriculture Elena Skrynnik, Belarusian Acting Minister of Agriculture and Food Leonid Marinich, as well as royal advisor and a member of the UK House of Lords, Daniel Brennan and FAO Sub-Regional Coordinator for Central Asia Mustapha Sinaceur will speak at the press conference.
