Some 73.3 percent of Azerbaijani Insurance Company Ipek Yolu Sigorta's fees fell to air transport insurance in January 2014, the company told Trend on Feb. 27.
The company collected 5.42 million manat for this type last month. In general, the fees totaled 7.39 million manat.
The fees on air transport owners' liability insurance totaled 1.79 million manat (24.22 percent of all fees).
The remaining two and a half percent of the companies' premiums on insurance were for general liability insurance, property insurance against fire and other risks.
The company's payment exceeded 8,000 manat in January, of which 6,780 manat fell to car insurance.
The company's premiums totaled 17.13 million manat and payments - 73,580 manat as of 2013.
Ipek Yolu Sigorta insurance company, specializing in air transport insurance, was established in 1995.
