Kazakhstan Defense Ministry will buy four Russian Mi-35 helicopters, a purchase contract will be signed before the end of 2016, Kazakh Deputy Defense Minister Okas Saparov told RIA Novosti on Sep.7 at the "Army 2016" forum in Moscow region.
Moreover, until the yearend Kazakhstan will receive four Mi-35 more within the contract signed with Russia in 2015.
Russia will also supply two Su-30 fighters and two Mi-17 helicopters in 2016 as a part of previously signed contracts.
