A number of meetings between representatives of Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology and Kazakh companies will be organized with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai.
The meetings will be organized to clarify the issues of certification of Halal goods as well as general changes in the certification procedure, Kazakh Invest said in a message issued Sept. 20.
“The UAE market is very attractive for Kazakh producers,” said Gaziz Abdinabieva, a representative of Kazakh Invest.
Abdinabieva said Kazakh companies’ representatives had met with potential buyers not only from the UAE, but also from other countries of the Middle East.
In the first half of 2017, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the UAE amounted to $317.3 million, increasing 3.1 times compared to the same period last year.
