Azerbaijan’s Balkhoorma company, engaged in the production of dried fruits, plans to enter the Ukrainian market, the company’s Sales and Marketing Director Rovshan Hajiyev said.
He was speaking May 16 on the sidelines of WorldFood Azerbaijan, Caspian Agro and Ipack Caspian international exhibitions being held in Baku Expo Center.
He said that the parties have already completed the negotiations, and it remains only to discuss the logistics issues. He noted that about 2.5 tons of dried fruits were ordered for export to Ukraine.
“We started exporting our products in February 2018,” he said. “Supplies to Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Belarus, Malaysia and Brazil have been already implemented. So far, we have supplied about 50 tons of products abroad.”
Balkhoorma LLC, which started operating in 2016, has a weekly production capacity of 20 tons, and presently, about 100 people work there.
