Foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan's Atyrau region in 2018 exceeded $30 billion, Trend reports via Kazinform.
In the total volume of trade turnover, the share of exports reached 92 percent ($27.5 billion), while the volume of imports was 8 percent ($2.5 billion). Main imports were equipment (59.3 percent), ferrous metal products (17.7 percent) and chemical industry products (6.3 percent).
The customs officers issued almost 43,000 declarations of goods, which is 18.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2017. Of these, more than 36,700 declarations were on imports, about 6,000 were on exports.
