Azerbaijan’s macaroni factory discloses production volumes

Karmen macaroni factory situated in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku has slightly increased daily macaroni production, a source in the factory told Trend.

“Today the factory produces up to 72 tons of macaroni daily,” the source said.

“The factory plans to increase the daily production of Bucatini spaghetti till late 2019,” the source said. “Presently, the daily production of these products is 20 tons. We plan to increase this figure up to 22 tons. In accordance with our estimates, the factory is able to bring the total the production volume up to 33,000-35,000 tons of this type of spaghetti. This indicator did not exceed 30,000 tons in 2018.”

“The maximum capacity of the factory does not exceed 80 tons of macaroni per day,” the source added.

"The factory plans to increase this figure up to 85 tons from 2020,” the source said. “We expect to increase the production volumes through opening new production lines in 2020."

German Dufler equipment for macaroni production, as well as Italian Fava equipment have been installed in the factory for the production of Bucatini spaghetti.

The company's products have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

German, Turkish and Italian equipment is used in the factory.
