Atena LLC, an Azerbaijani dairy company located in the country’s Agjabadi district, has completed the development of an additional cheese production line, a source in the company told Trend.
The production line will be launched early next year, according to the source.
“The preparatory work has begun, which envisages introduction of an additional cheese production line,” the source noted. “The products are intended for the sale in Azerbaijan. The company has also increased production of raw milk by 25 percent since the beginning of this year, compared to 11 months last year. Every day, 50–55 tons of milk are produced at the company. There are plans to increase this figure to 60–65 tons in the coming months. The company will increase production of cottage cheese, cream and qatiq (a fermented milk product) next year.”
The source added that in the new year, the company plans to open several additional dairy production lines.
The production facilities of Atena are located in Azerbaijan's Agjabadi district. The company has its own farm and land plots.
