Atena LLC, an Azerbaijani dairy company located in the country's Agjabadi district, has completed the development of a new variety of sour cream, a source in the company told Trend.
"This year, the company introduced two new types of this dairy product into production. In the near future, we will start producing another type of sour cream, which differs from the previous ones by its low fat content. This is a low-calorie product, designed to maintain special low-fat diets, with high quality. The products are intended for sale within the country," the source said.
The source noted that since the beginning of 2019, the company has increased the production of raw milk by 30 percent, compared to 2018.
"Every day, the company produces over 55 tons of milk. It is planned to increase this figure to 60-65 tons in the first months of 2020. It is also planned to increase the production of cottage cheese, cream and gatig [local yoghurt variety], thanks to the opening of new production lines," the source said.
The company has its own farm and land plots in Aghjabadi district.
