CSC vessels transported about 11,17 million tons of various cargo
The Caspian Shipping Company (CSC) transported in January вЂ" October 2005 11,17 million tons of various cargo, which is equal to the last yearвЂ™s figure. CCS transported 8,13 million tons of oil and oil products, which is by 2,9% more of the same period of 2004, CSC told Trend. From the total amount of the oil traffic 2,7 million were oil and oil products from Kazakhstan (2,46 thousand tons in January-October 2004) and 2,42 million tons from Turkmenistan (2,42 million tons in January-October 2004).
The CSC tankers delivered 1,99 million tons to other Caspian ports, in particular to the Iranian Neka and Nouhsehrj in January-October 2005 against 1.09 million tons for 10 months of 2004, to the Russian Machachkala port - 0,14 million tons of the oil and oil products against 0,36 million tons in January-October 2004.
