The number of passengers who use the services of the “Baku Metropoliten” Producing Unit (PU) in January-October 2005 was 119,9 million, which is by 7,5% more of the same period of 2004, PU told Trend.
The Baku Metropoliten consists at presents of two lines, 29 operating stations with 32 vestibules. 42 escalators are functioning, having the total length of over 4300 meters.
The total length of the tunnel constructions is 80,96 km. Over 520,000 passengers use metro daily. Each year the 5%-incraese in the passenger flow is observed.
