In January-November 2006, the volume of the output of nonmetallic mineral matters in Azerbaijan increased by 1.7%. According to the State Statistics Committee, the output of the main types of products such as cement, bricks, lime, and structural glass increase in the country. At present, 94.6% of the constructional materials fall at the private sector, Trend reports.
In January-October, the number of those who were engaged in this sphere reached 5,731persons, or over 14.4% more versus the corresponding period of the last year. The average amount of the wage of the workers made up 138.2 AZN in this period.
