Iran offers aviation fuel on energy market

Iran has for the first time offered aviation fuel on the energy market.

The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company’s (NIORDC) aviation fuel (ATK) was offered at the energy market’s international ring on June 29, SHANA news agency reported July 1.

The fuel was from Arak refinery and was sold to Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Armenia, the report added.

Aside from the aviation fuel, Iran also sold Abadan Refinery’s liquefied gas (headed for Pakistan) and Shazand Refinery’s liquefied gas (headed for Afghanistan and Pakistan).

The market’s total value of offered goods was close to 25.042 billion rials ($815,000). The goods weighed about 2,565 tons.
